Judy Roessner, with over 30 years of experience, leads Sixthriver Architects as President, emphasizing design excellence, efficient processes, and clear communication. Her expertise covers mixed-use, hospitality, commercial office, retail, and medical office spaces. Judy prioritizes team collaboration, oversees firm operations, and ensures innovative project delivery.
She recently introduced a new project delivery process, aiding development clients from feasibility through development management services. Sixthriver partners with top real estate developers in Texas, expanding services beyond traditional design. Judy holds degrees in Interior Design and Architecture, is NCARB certified, and is a licensed architect in Texas, Missouri, Florida, and Montana. She is involved in professional organizations such as AIA, ULI, RECA, the Austin Housing Coalition, and serves on the Board of the Anderson Community Development Corporation.
Judy is also an advisor on equity preservation and affordable housing initiatives, promoting workplace health and meaningful design solutions. She participates in a task force through the Austin Housing Coalition, holding the Austin City Council accountable for the “Affordability Impact Statement” ordinance. She collaborated on the SMART housing initiative and continues to work with its original authors.
