Eva Esparza has lived in Austin, Texas, for over 50 years. With a background in IT, industrial engineering, quality, and business intelligence, she aims to contribute to her community through communication, education, and mentorship. She graduated from the University of Texas with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Asian Studies. Eva worked at Motorola for over 20 years in various roles and founded CAPAware, Inc. to provide cloud computing software to reduce errors and defects.
As a volunteer, she served as President of Harris Elementary PTA, led Malcolm Baldrige assessment teams for the Performance Excellence Program at the University of Texas, and served on the boards of International Training in Communications Council II and Austin American Society of Quality.
