Board Member

Dr. Virginia Stewart Miller is a business and community leader with extensive experience in transformative technology projects in both private and public sectors. She holds an undergraduate degree from Rice University, an MBA in Finance and Management of Information Systems from the University of Texas at Austin, and completed her studies at the University of Florida, where she developed a framework for leveraging technology to drive organizational change.

Dr. Virginia has received numerous awards for excellence and quality management and is recognized for her leadership in digital transformation projects in Higher Education and State Government. She became a University Vice-President and Chief Information & Technology Officer at 40 and is a certified Project Management Professional, SCRUM Master, SCRUM Product Owner, and John Maxwell Leadership Coach.

She attributes her success to the grace and love of her Heavenly Father. Called to the gospel of Jesus Christ at a young age, she began teaching Sunday School at 9, has been a licensed minister for 20 years, and is an ordained Elder. Dr. Virginia is passionate about research, genealogy, and history, and seeks truth through Holy Scripture to overcome life’s challenges. She mentors and coaches colleagues in their professional growth and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Virginia serves as Treasurer for the Anderson Community Development Corporation, ministers at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, is the Historian for the St. John Regular Baptist District Association, and an Education Ambassador for the Texas Freedom Colonies Project. She is a mother of three, grandmother of two, and a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
